My path in life has been direct

I grew up in Alabama.
2.
I went to predominantly white middle and high schools, so I knew I wanted to go to an HBCU for college—it was also my family legacy to attend an HBCU.
3.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.
4.
I went to Florida Institute of Technology for graduate school and earned my master’s degree with a concentration in logistics.
5.
I started my career as a program analyst for Raytheon.
6.
After a couple of years at Raytheon, I joined The Coca-Cola Company as a central region operations support manager.
7.
I’ve since spent 13 years with Coca-Cola working in project management, operations management, and customer engagement.
Defining Moments
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Starting out with Coca-Cola was scary. It was a new industry for me and I was joining such a big company. I worked through the transition by creating a 30-60-90 development plan with my boss to make sure I got up to speed with where I needed to be.
