Experiences and challenges that shaped me

  • I came from a single parent home with an older brother as well. My mother worked two jobs to care for us and to be able to keep us involved in sports and other activities. We didn't have much at all but the support of each other.

  • I have grown up with a speech impediment since the time I started talking. I was in therapy for it until I was 13. I use the same determination and hard work that it took me to pronounce words and put it into my work ethic to overcome anything.
